Living with loose dentures can be frustrating and uncomfortable. Because they don’t fit securely, they can shift or slip unexpectedly while eating or speaking, leading to embarrassing moments in social settings.
Stop living in constant fear because of your ill-fitting dentures. Simarro Brothers Dental Care can stabilize your dentures with implants so you can start living life without limits. Implant-supported dentures in Antioch, California, offer exceptional stability, a natural feel, and a life-like appearance.
Conventional dentures are a simple and effective way to restore your smile. They are created from natural-looking materials that rest on your gums directly. Traditional dentures rely on suction and adhesives to stay put when eating or speaking.
Unfortunately, your dentures can loosen over time because of several reasons.
Ill-fitting dentures can be frustrating. The poor fit causes embarrassing slippages when eating or speaking. The constant movement causes friction against your gums, causing sores and irritation. Over time, the instability of your dentures can cause further jawbone loss, further complicating the fit of your prosthetic.
Dental implants are a fantastic way to help you start enjoying your dentures again, especially the problematic lower dentures. Many patients enjoy upper dentures because they provide a secure fit because of the suction provided by the palate. Think of a cup upside-down on a wet surface. When you try to pull it up, you can feel resistance because of suction.
Unfortunately, lower dentures don’t enjoy this suction, and the constant tongue and lower jaw movement doesn’t help. The lower dentures are known as floating dentures because they hardly stay in place.
Dental adhesives may feel like the only option to secure dentures, but that’s not the case. Dental implants are a life-changing solution that will give you a better fit and stability for your dentures. We anchor your dentures on 2-6 implants strategically placed in the jawbone. Dental implants revolutionize your denture experience—many patients describe them as life-changing!
For years, traditional dentures have been the go-to solution for missing teeth. Dental implants can stabilize your dentures so you can love your smile more.
Here are the life-changing benefits of implant dentures.
